Constitutional Committee meet put off

KATHMANDU, Dec 19: A meeting of the Constitutional Committee (CC) scheduled to take place on Monday, to discuss the issues presented by the Dispute Resolving Sub-committee formed to settle the contentious issues of the peace and constitution-making process has been put off.



Today´s meeting of the CC has been adjourned when its members could not turn up for meeting due to Nepal bandha enforced by the Nepali Congress (NC) putting forward demands in connection with the murder of Tarun Dal Chitwan President Shiva Poudel, informed CC Chairperson Nilambar Acharya.



Next meeting of the CC will take place at 9 AM on December 21 Wednesday, it is informed.
