According to the 11th National Census- 2068 Bs, 51,454 people are married in early age. During the marriage, they were under 10 years of age.[break]
Besides, the national census reveals that the number of people having polygamy stands at 4,059 in the district. Of them, 3,340 are male and 719 are female.
Similarly, the cases of second marriage are also high in the district. The number of second marriage is 4968, of them, 2977 are male and 1981 are female.
The number of divorced couple is 298 in the district, according to Nawaraj Lamsal, Chief of the District Statistics Office, Rasuwa- Nuwakot. Similarly, women´s ownership on houses and land has also increased in Nuwakot, shows the statistics.
