The celebration is a three-day event which is set to begin on Friday, June 3 with a film show at Patan Durbar Square.[break]
The films are going to be screened everyday at 6pm beginning with “Inconvenient Truth” followed by “Addicted to Plastic” on the second day, and “The Age of Stupid” on the final day.
Elaborating the idea behind the film festival, Bijay Prajapati, director CGNN, said “All the movies have environment awareness as their themes,
and CGNN has regularly screened similar documentaries in the past.”
The final day of the event will have an art competition where the participants will engage themselves in various art-related activities. Also, there will be a rally in which students from all across the capital can participate with self-made posters and banners.
Students who are interested in participating in the rally, or the art event, can contact CGNN at www.cgnn.org.np
