CA regulations amendment draft report tabled

KATHMANDU, Jan 17: On Monday´s meeting of the Constituent Assembly (CA), President of CA Regulations Drafting Committee, Pushpa Bhusal tabled the CA Regulations Amendment Drat Committee Report, 2011.



The draft of the amendment has been brought to hand over the rights of settling the contentious issues in the Constitutional Committee (CC) reports and the Thematic Committee reports to the CC and to send all the Thematic Committee reports to the CC.



The drafting committee includes lawmakers Ekraj Bhandari, Dhirendra Bahadur Shrestha, Brijesh Kumar Gupta and Santa Bahadur Nepali.



The next meeting of the CA is taking place on January 18, Tuesday, at 1:00 pm.



Similarly, CA Chairman Subas Nemwang informed the meeting that the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament scheduled for today has been postponed till tomorrow. According to Nemwang, the meeting will take place at 3:30 pm Tuesday.
