CA polls sans consensus unacceptable

JHAPA : Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Kamal Thapa has said that the government guided by the four-party syndicate cannot hold fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) polls. Speaking to media persons at Birtamod, Thapa said “The government should hold dialogues with the agitating parties to hold the CA election peacefully.



Thapa said the decision of the four parties will not be acceptable to the agitating parties. “CA polls must be held, but only after forging consensus with other parties,” he said. He also said that the High Level Political Committee (HLPC) is no longer relevant. He, however, said that his party has taken the government"s announcement of fresh polls on November 19 positively.
