Bimal Gurung, one of those transferred, said the haphazard transfer can´t be justified. "We will continue with our protest until and unless the decision is withdrawn," Gurung added.

Kumari Bank conducts health camp
KATHMANDU, Mar 7: Kumari Bank in coordination with Indrawati Community Service Center conducted a health camp in Kunchowk, a remote village in Sindhupalchowk district, on Saturday.
According to the press statement issued by the bank, people villages like Sikharpur, Jyamire, Badegaun and other nearby settlements took benefits from the camp.
The camp was led by Dr Komal Thapa and six other specialists. Altogether 765 people participated in the health camp, the statement added.
Prime Life issues ordinary shares
KATHMANDU, Mar 7: Prime Life Insurance issued 1,000,080 unit shares from Sunday.
Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the company said the shares are issued through 31 collection outlets across the nation.
Interested individuals can apply for a minimum of 10 units to a maximum of 36,000 units, according to the statement.
NIC launches Visa Debit card
KATHMANDU, Mar 7: NIC Bank has launched NIC Visa Debit Card.
According to a press statement issued on Sunday, NIC Visa Debit Card can be issued to any person maintaining a current or savings account with the bank.
“The debit card is accepted in more than 300,000 outlets and 20,000 ATMs in Nepal and India. Similarly, purchases can be made for up to Rs 500,000 per day at any merchant establishment through POS machines without any service charge,” the statement added.
The NIC Visa Debit Card can be used at any of NIC Bank branch. The bank will also launch international NIC VISA Debit Card in the near future.
