LG launches direct drive washing machine
KATHMANDU: CG Electronics -- the authorized dealer of LG brand for Nepal -- has introduced world´s first 6-motion direct drive washing machine in the Nepali mrket. According to a press statement issued on Monday, LG´s innovative and stylish 6 motion washing machine uses six powerful but gentle techniques to deliver a customized wash for different types of fabrics, without the harsh treatment that causes damage to clothes. Manakamana Bank launches deposit schemes
KATHMANDU: Manakamana Development Bank has launched new deposit schemes called ´Manakamana Ujjwal Bhabisya Fixed´ and ´Manakamana Ujjwal Bhabisya Savings´ to mark New Year 2013. The deposit schemes are targeted at children as young as one day old to individuals aged up to 20 years old. “One can subscribe to savings deposit scheme by opening an account with a minimum balance of Rs 1,000,” says a bank statement. The scheme gives an interest yield of seven percent per annum and discount on vehicle and home loan rates, the statement adds. Under fixed deposit scheme, parents and guardians can open an account with minimum balance of Rs 25,000 or above. The deposit scheme offers an interest rate up to 9 percent per annum, the statement says. “No charges will be levied in case of prematurity withdrawal of the deposit. Besides, depositors can acquire loan of up to 80 percent of the amount against deposit,” the statement added.
