Body of boy, missing in Bishnumati River, found

KATHMANDU, April 14: The body of an eight-year-old boy, who went missing in the Bishnumati River a day earlier, has been recovered on Saturday.



A joint search team of Nepal Army and Armed Police Force recovered the body of Junait Ansari at around 12:15 pm in the river at Naya Bazar, police said.



The body was found entangled with a wire inside the river, according to police.



The boy, residing at Medical Chowk of Kathmandu Metropolis-16, was swept away by the river on Friday at 2:00 pm.
