KATHMANDU, July 5: The 22 MW Seti Khola Hydropower Project (SKHP) constructed by Seti Hydro Power Pvt Ltd in Musetoda, Kaski has started its test production.
Project Chief Ujjwal Regmi said the trial production was started after the construction and installation of all the project structures were completed. According to him, commercial production will begin after conducting trial production for the next 15 days.

The generated electricity from the SKHP will be evacuated to the national grid system via the Lekhnath-Damauli 132 kV transmission line. The project is estimated to generate 133.43 gigawatt hours (133.43 million units) of electricity annually.
The project that incurred the generation cost of Rs 5.5 billion has 75 percent loan investment and 25 percent equity investment. Of the equity, Dolma Impact Fund-2 has invested 49 percent, the general public has invested 30 percent, and the remaining is invested by promoter shareholders.
