Gachchhadar, who is also the chairman of Madhesi People´s Right Forum-Democratic (MPRF-D), said holding fresh CA election was the best option for ending the current political deadlock.
He maintained that the present government would not step down until political parties reach a package deal on all issues. He also stressed the need for a government led by Madhes-based political parties.
In a separate context, he stated that the president would not take any step without political consensus. "The president will not take any step just because some political parties are inciting him to do so," Gachchhadar said, adding, "He (president) knows the circumstances very well."
