Overnight leader Bhuwan, who started the day with three-stroke lead, shot three-under 69 on Wednesday for a total of 10-under 206. Nepal number one Shiva Ram Shrestha carded four-under 68 for a total of eight-under 208 after 54 holes and remains stable in the second position.Sanjay Lama scored five-under 67 to maintain his third position and remained four strokes behind leader Bhuwan at six-under 210. Rame Magar who shot three-under 69 stays fourth with total of two-under 214. Deepak Thapa Magar and Surya Prasad Sharma are tied at fifth place at even-par 216. Deepak carded five-under 67 and Surya two-under 70 on the third day.
Bhuwan started the day with pars on the first seven holes, then suffered a bogey at the eighth hole for one-over 37 on the front nine. On the back nine, he achieved an eagle on 12th and added more birdies on 14th and 18th home for four-under 32.
Shiva Ram started the day with a double-bogey on the opening hole, but he compensated with a birdie on the third and eagle on the seventh hole for one-under 35 on the front side. On the later half, he birdied all three par-5s 11th, 12th and 15th and settled for even pars for three-under 33.
Sanjay made an impressive start with birdies on the first, fourth, seventh and ninth holes and achieved even par on other holes to go four-under 32 on the front nine. He then made birdies on 10th, 11th, 12th and 14th holes before dropping a shot of 15th, 16th and 17th holes to close the back nine at one-under 35.
Rame scored one-under 35 on the front nine and two-under 34 on the back nine. Deepak played four-under 32 on the front nine and one-under 35 on the back nine. Surya shot even-par 36 on the first half and added two-under 34 on the later.
Ramesh Adhikary who carded even-par 72 is at seventh position with one-over 217. Bal Bhadra Rai stands eighth with a card of four-over 220 after he played three-over 75 on the third day. Bikash Bogati, who shot two-over 74 on all three days, stands ninth with total of six-over 222. Pashupati Sharma shot two-under 70 to climb up to the 10th place.
Amongst the three amateurs who survived the cut, Prithivi Malla leads by 11 strokes with 11-over 227. He shot four-over 76 while Nischaya Rayamajhi is second with 238, followed by 241 of Tenzing Tshering.
The final round will be played on Thursday.
Bhuwan moves on top after third round
