Ram Prasad Sharma, a leader of All Nepal Free Student Union -Revolutionary (ANFSU-R), a students´ wing of UCPN (Maoist), has been seriously injured in the incident while a few others have received minor injuries. [break]
Reacting to the attack, the UCPN (Maoist) students have come down heavily against the Baidya´s party, stating that they should not be allowed to politicize the educational institutions.
The student unions affiliated to various parties have also demanded strong action against Badiya´s cadres who attacked the students inside campus premises.
Meanwhile, local leaders of the CPN-Maoist have warned that they will not let the government to hold the Constituent Assembly election in Salyan district.
