ANNISU to mobilize 50,000 volunteers for reconstructing damaged school buildings

KATHMANDU, May 11: All Nepal National Independent Students' Union (ANNISU) has decided to mobilize 50,000 volunteers for the reconstruction of damaged school buildings for a month.

The April 25 devastating earthquake and aftershocks have damaged a large number of school buildings across the country.


Similarly, the union has urged the concerned bodies not to charge a month's tuition fee from the students.

The union chair Kishor Bikram Malla said that the union would monitor the relief distribution activities. The Union chair Malla added that they would organize the health camps in quake-affected areas.

The union has assigned vice-chairs Ain Magar and Thomas Bastola in the capital, Deepak Gautam in Sindhupalchowk and Navina Lama in Kavrepalanchowk for the same. RSS
