Passengers have been stranded after no aircraft came for a week. They were affected as Agni Air and Tara Airlines which were making flights also did not make any flight in Khanidanda airport at Khalle.
It is said that the Agni airlines started to curtail flights after it started carrying tourists in other lucrative routes.
Likewise, the Tara Airlines also closed down its flights on various pretexts. In Lamidanda, the Tara and Nepal Airlines flights have not been made affecting the passengers.
The planes coming here are headed towards Solukhumbu, said Ramesh Shrestha of the Lamidanda Airport, whereas a passenger Dhatri Prasad Subedi who was waiting for flight over a week said he was much affected by the lack of flights. Flights have not been taken place in southern Thamkharka Airport either.
