According to the District Police Office (DPO), the inmates were injured in a clash that ensued after a minor dispute between security guard Dipendra Limbu and other inmates. [break]
The seven injured jailbirds are Binod Danuwar, Bidur Bhattrai, Dipak Shiva, Shiyaram Paswan, Bhishnu Dhami, Prithvi Magar and Dipak Rai, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Lokendra Shrestha. The injured are receiving treatment at Udayapur district hospital.
