KATHMANDU, March 5: Voter turnout in Sudurpashchim Province stood at around 50 percent.
Premraj Bhatta, acting chief of the Provincial Election Office in Dhangadhi, said that 50 percent of votes had been cast in the province as of 3 pm.

There are 1,716,660 registered voters in the province, which has 16 constituencies. A total of 1,176 polling locations and 2,199 polling stations have been designated across the province.
