According to the police, both the children had eaten the mushroom on July 26 and their health started to deteriorate. Kesab had taken his last breath while being rushed to hospital, while Sapana died in the course of treatment. Meanwhile, another child Nipun BK from Rolpa has also fallen ill after eating poisonous mushroom. Police said BK has been referred to Butwal.
