Jas Bahadur is bed-ridden with high fever and all of them are living on the streets with nothing to eat, Jas Bahadur said over telephone. He also requested the police to make arrangements for their return, according to Binod Shrestha, sub-inspector at Area Police Office, Bhogateni.
Jas Bahadur and his elder brother Ratna Bahadur had paid a total of Rs 170,000 to the manager of Rapid Manpower Mohan Subedi seeking employment in Saudi Arabia.
Following a complaint from Jas Bahadur´s father Kham Narayan, Subedi was arrested while conducting an awareness program on foreign employment in Itahari on Wednesday.
Subedi was released after he committed to bring back all of the stranded men willing to return within three days.
