The plasti ponds have been constricted in the VDCs including Kota, Bhirkot, Baidi, Chhimkeswori, Chhipchhipe and Devghat with a view to promoting off-seasonal vegetable farming through rain water harvesting, said Chairperson of VDC Coordination Committee, Pratap Gurung. [break]
Hundreds of farmers are making a good amount of money from vegetable farming with the construction of such ponds.
