"Around 1000 representatives will participate in the general convention from within and outside the country," Pampha Bhusal, spokesperson of CPN-Maoist, told Republica.

A total of 44 central committee members and 30 central advisory committee members will participate in the general convention as organizing committee members.
The party has completed conventions of the village, municipal and district levels. Bhusal informed that the state committee conventions will be completed by 1 January.
