UML forms advisory council

KATHMANDU, March 17: A meeting of the CPN-UML Standing Committee has formed a 58-member central advisory council as per the party´s statute.



The Council has members who have devoted significant part of their lives to communist movement in Nepal. According to party leader Amrit Kumar Bohara, the committee comprises 33 percent women members.



The council will elect its officials including chairman. “It is an important party body with members like Modnath Prashrit who have devoted a significant part of their lives to democracy and communist movement in Nepal,” said Bohara.
