KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has transferred a few staff in the passport section of the ministry, a week after the arrest of a non-gazetted official, Bachchu Ram KC, on the charge of providing fake passports to five Afghan nationals. KC was arrested last week.

"New staff will be joining the passport section from Thursday," said an official at the ministry. "The transfers were made partly to minimize the damage caused by KC and partly as a regular process," said a senior official.
