Top brass to hold meeting on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, March 1: In a bid to sort out the differences among the three political parties--Nepali Congress, UML and Unified CPN (Maoist), a meeting of the senior leaders has been scheduled at Godawari Village Resort on Tuesday at 9 am.



The meeting will be basically focused on constitution drafting and peace processes along with the protracted political scenario of the country. [break]



Meanwhile, the joint meeting of the ruling allies—Nepali Congress and UML held at Singha Durbar on Monday set an agenda for the Tuesday’s meeting.



They have demanded that the Maoists return the seized properties, dissolve the para-military activities of YCL and publicly declare that they would refrain from violence, among others.



“We will open all the options including the change of guard, once we resolve all the political differences,” Bharat Mohan Adhikari, senior leader of UML informed after the meeting.



NC leaders—Ram Chandra Poudel, Ram Saran Mahat, Krishna Situala and UML leaders—Jhala Nath Khanal and Bharat Mohan Adhikari, among others were present in the meeting.
