Three killed in Naradevi fire

KATHMANDU, May 5: Three persons including two minors and a woman were burnt to death in a fire which broke out after a cooking stove went off at Naradvi, Kathmandu-19 at around 6:30 pm on Sunday evening.



The deceased woman has been identified as Devkala Magar. However, identity of the two minors are yet to be ascertained.[break]



According to Mim Bahadur Lama, Inspector at Janasewa Police Office Hanuman Dhoka, the fire which spread from the Magar’s room at the third floor of the Naradev-based house, burnt to death two minors living at the fourth floor of the house.



Police said that they died before the rescue team could bring them out of the house.



According to police, the bodies of the deceased have been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for autopsy.
