The transport service along the Shreebhawar road section of the Highway was disrupted after snow was accumulated up to one foot on the road. [break]
The passengers and vehicles heading to and from Bajhang to different districts in Terai were stranded on the way following the snowfall, said local inhabitants.
Normal life in and around half a dozen VDCs in Baitadi and Bajhang districts was affected, said Dhirendra Dhami, a businessman of Shreebhawar.
Snow fell heavily in Chaukham, Sigas, Shikharpur, Bhumiraj of Baitadi, and Deulikot and some other VDCs of Bajhang, he said.
