Four persons died as a passenger bus overturned on the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi.
The deceased have been identified as Jagannath Bhandari, 41, of Nawalparasi, Sujan Kumar Rijal, of Bardiya and Parshuram Sapkota, 55, of Gulmi. The fourth person has yet to be identified.
Of the total 20 passengers injured, seven are critical, police said. They are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hopital.
Similarly, two persons died when a truck fell into the Trishuli River near Bange of Pida VDC-2 in Dhading on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as truck help Mukesh Mahato and Hakim Miyan (50) of Bara, police said.
