PM visits Norvic to inquire about Thapa's health

KATHMANDU, June 10: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai went to the Norvic International Hospital on Sunday and took stock of the health condition of Chairman of the Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) and former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa.



The prime minister assured to cooperate on behalf of the government in his treatment or if he is to be taken outside the country for treatment, said RJP Joint Spokesman Kiran Giri.



Giri said the prime minister and Chairman Thapa made a brief conversation at the hospital.Similarly, Senior Leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal and RPP Chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana and other leaders also met Thapa and acquired information on his health.
