Nyayako Lalasa made public

KATHMANDU, Feb. 6: The INHURED International has made public a documentary that has included the excesses of then CPN-Maoist and Nepal Army during a decade-long people’s war.[break]



Forty-five minute long documentary ‘Nyayako Lalasa’ (Yearning for Justice) has highlighted the armed excess to the people who struggled for getting justice.



Artist Somnath Bhattarai prepared the script and directed the film that includes the main incidents of human rights violation.



Chairman of the Constituent Assembly (CA) Subash Chandra Nembang inaugurated the documentary show.



 Talking to media persons, CA Chairman Nembang said it is good to bring such incidents among the people when the peace process was not taken to the logical conclusion.



He said the documentary will help the stakeholders concerned remind the incidents and provide justice to the war victims.
