Norway will continue to invest in developing Nepal´s vast hydropower potential, given an investment-friendly climate, he assured.

Talking to reporters prior to returning home, the Norwegian minister said Norway would be providing financial assistance for construction of the power transmission line between Khimti and Kathmandu and make substantial investment in the Tamakoshi-III hydroelectricity project.

Stating that Nepal stands at the entrance to prosperity with a vast array of opportunities ahead, he urged all the leaders of Nepal to start putting the country´s best interest at the forefront of their agenda.
