Nepal bowls first losing toss against Uganda

KATHMANDU, May 5: Uganda has won the toss and sent Nepal to field first in the final of the ICC World Cricket Division Three tournament being played at the National Stadium, Hamilton in Bermuda on Sunday.



Nepal had earned place in the final as well as 2014 World Cup Qualifiers finishing second on the points table upon the completion of the league matches in a sudden turn of events on Saturday.[break]



Nepal defeated Italy by 8 wickets in its last league match of the tournament whereas in the other match host Bermuda stunned the USA by 5 wickets, placing Nepal in the second position in the standings behind Uganda, who was already qualified before its last match against Oman.
