The operation for the second time on Banstola is related to cerebral edema, said Banstola´s nephew Tara Banstola, quoting the doctors.
Earlier on December 29, Banstola was operated on at the Neuro Hospital, Silguri, India, after suffering from brain haemorrhage.
Banstola was taken to Delhi at 9:00 pm on Tuesday from Siliguri after no signs of improvements were seen in his health condition. He is in an unconscious state for the last three days even after the operation.
