MoE urges to call off agitation programs

KATHMANDU, Sept  9: The Ministry of Education has urged all stakeholders to call off agitation programs in view of the talks being held to resolve ongoing tensions at the Purbanchal University (PU).



Issuing a press statement on Monday, officiating Secretary at the MoE, Surya Prasad Gautam has drawn the attention of the agitating groups stating that protest programmes against admission, entrance examination and annual examination of the university will have huge impact on students future.



Stating that as the university is autonomous, internal process is on for resolving tensions the Ministry called for withdrawing agitation programs. The university has been padlocked by student organizations demanding probe against  irregularities in the university.
