According to Area Police Office, Thori, Murari Panta, 28, of Thori VDC-8 raped a five-year-old minor on May 2.
The case became public after relatives of the victim filed a case at Area Police Office, Thori, today, said police office chief Sujan Raj Bhandari.
Bhandari said Panta escaped to India after raping the girl. Police has asked his father to call him.
Health of the minor is critical. She is undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital.
