Minister directs NT to improve service quality

KATHMANDU, April 26: Minister for Information and Communications Madhav Poudel has directed the Nepal Telecom office-bearers to maintain the quality of mobile phone services and bring essential improvements in its services.



During his meeting with the company managing directors including other office-bearers at his office Friday, the Communications Ministers directed them to be sensitive towards the public complaints about the quality of mobile phone service and take immediate measures to improve the quality.



In response, the NT office bearers pledged to maintain the quality of mobile phone services with the installation of new BTS in the Kathmandu Valley. The task of replacing the olds BTS with new ones will begin form May 17, they informed the Minister.



The Information and Communications Ministers instructed the NT team to work to bring immediate improvement in the quality of the NT services and give relief to customers in and outside the Valley.
