Speaking at a function jointly organized by National TV struggle committee and corporation branch in the Capital on Tuesday, Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) President Shiva Gaule said the increasing problems of the media persons were the result when the investors did not become sincere over their profession.[break]
The journalists are being suffering as like as in the National TV that it would be even severe if it was not resolved in time, he said.
The journalists are forced to work without any appointment even in the Capital, let alone the journalism in mofussil.
Vice-chairman of Nepal Press Union Hemanta Kafle the journalism profession faces the crisis lacking the clear legal provision such as codes of conducts who could run the media services.
He said those who invest in this sector to make their property sacred earned through wrong way.
Nepal Press Chautari Vice-chairman Rajendra Aryal said the problem is not only in the National TV but also in almost all media sectors that the media persons should be united and fight against such evils aspects.
Coordinator of the committee Tanka Gaire said all media workers stressed on the need for struggling to get their rights.
The committee has padlocked and started the struggle saying for reserving the media workers rights since May 29.
