Deep Bahadur Shahi stabbed his brother Mahendra Shahi, 30, in their home town, in Bishala VDC-3 Suiya, Dailekh.[break]
Mahendra Bahadur met his end while trying to resolve an issue between his father Harka Bahadur and his elder brother Deep.
It has been learnt that the duo were fighting over a buffalo.
Harka Bahadur has been severely injured in the incident.
Mahendra died on his way to the hospital, informed District Police Office, Dailekh.
His body has been kept at the district hospital for post mortem.
The deceased was a teacher at a school in Suiya.
Deep Bahadur has been absconding and police are searching for him, informed Lakandra Police Station In charge Govinda Bikram Shah.
