It has been speculated that Simkhada was killed in connection with the murder of a UCPN (Maoist) cadre Bijay Lama on Monday morning. Pushpa Bikram Malla, district coordinator of UCPN (Maoist) claimed Simkhada´s involvement in Tamang’s murder.
Police were also searching for Simkhada for interrogation over the Maoist cadre´s murder. However, police have no clue yet who attacked Simkhada.
The police got the wind of the incident at 11 pm and recovered the body at around midnight, informed Bikas Raj Khanal, DSP, Dhading. The deceased has bruises all over the body and severe cut marks on the limbs.
Police are preparing to bring the body to Dhadingbesi for autopsy.
The deceased Simkhada was the son of late Mukunda Simkhada, who was killed during the insurgency period.
A day earlier, police had arrested Ashok Tamang and Amar Lama of Darkha-7 and Milan Tamang of Darkha-4 suspecting their role in Tamang´s murder.
The twin murders in a span of twelve hours in the village have left the locals terror-stricken.
