Taking part in an interaction, Gachchhadar accused the big parties of not being serious towards concluding the peace process and the constitution-drafting.[break]
Formation of a new government was delayed and political confusion deepens in the country following the three major parties´ greed for power, said Gachchhadar who is also the Chairman of the Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (Democratic).
Consensus among the three parties won´t be possible as they are busy in fighting for power, he claimed, adding that his party is ready to fulfill the people´s mandate if the major parties failed to do so.
The MPRF (D) is in favor of forming a new government through the consensus system. However its role in forming a majority government will be significant if formation of the unity government is not possible.
Also speaking at the programme, Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Sharat Singh Bhandari claimed that small parties and Madhesh- centric parties are able to form and run a government of national consensus.
In another context, the tourism minister said though Nawalparasi is a good tourist destination, it could not see an increase in tourist arrivals due to lack of development of infrastructures.
He also urged one and all to help in making the Nepal Tourism Year a success.
Gachchhadar, Bhandari and other leaders were here to attend the inauguration of three-day training organised for the party cadres.
