Speaking at a program organized by the Human Rights and Peace Society to mark the International Non-violence Day Sunday, he said all the political parties have equal responsibility in enforcing the rule of law by concluding the peace process.[break]
Vice-president of Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Poudel said goodwill, tolerance and humanity are inevitable for development of the society and called for the attention of one and all towards minimizing the feeling of animosity.
He also paid tributes to the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi of changing people’s heart and mind through non-violence.
At the program, Dr Arjun Karki, World cyclist Puskar Shaha, founding President of the Society, Krishna Pahadi and other speakers also stressed on the need to give up violence for the betterment of the society.
