Gopal Chitrakar scored 34 stableford points to finish runner-up in the count back. Gopal a single handicap golfer was tied with Rajendra Shrestha and won with better score on the back nine.[break]
The winner was awarded with a trophy and washing Machine of IFB while the runner-up bagged a trophy and a microwave of IFB.
Rekha Ghimire edged past Kencho Ongdi Lama by one stoke to win the women´s´ category. Ghimire score 32 stableford points. Ghimire received winners´ trophy and a washing machine of IFB, while Ongdi got runners up trophy and a microwave of IFB.
Tashi Tshiring won the best gross award scoring 32 gross points. Krishna Narayan Singh Thapa won the best senior golfer award for age 60 and above with 32 stableford points. Sonam Ongdi Lama won the best junior Golfer award scoring 25 stableford points in 9 holes.
All three winners of Gross, Senior and Junior category received Trophy and a microwave of IFB.
Koichi Kawamoto won the closest to the pin award, Wangchen Dhondup won the longest drive award and Tsultrim Lama won the most birdies title. Altogether 108 players, including four women and nine junior golfers had participated in the tournament sponsored by SG Group of Industries.
Chairman of Sagtani group, Vinod Sagtani and President of Gokarna Golf Club, Suhrid Ghimire distributed prizes to the winners. Sagtani group has announced to make this an annual event and will also be doing a professional tournament from next year.
