A Cabinet meeting held at Singh Durbar this morning also decided to accept the resignation submitted by the Gyan Chandra Acharya, the Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations in New York, effective from September 1, 2012, Minister for Education Dina Nath Sharma informed.[break]
According to him, the meeting also decided to promote Hari Prasad Rajal, a Gazetted second class officer at the Urban Development Ministry, to the post of Gazetted first class officer at the Sanitary sub-division of the Engineering service civil division effective from August 9.
The meeting also decided to give him retirement effective from September 9.
Although the meeting was said to take a decision on bringing seven more ordinances, the meeting did not take any decision. Minister Sharma informed that the issue was, however, discussed in the meeting.
