KATHMANDU, July 17: Gold prices fell sharply in the domestic market on Friday, with the price of fine gold dropping by Rs 3,100 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is being traded at Rs 282,100 per tola, down from Rs 285,200 per tola on Thursday.
Silver prices also declined. FENEGOSIDA said silver fell by Rs 125 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,200 per tola.
