General strike called off in Janakpur

JANAKPUR, March 8: The shutdown enforced by Madheshi Janadhikar Forum (Democratic) in Janakpur has been called off today considering Mahashivaratri festival and forthcoming SLC Examinations, said Sanjay Kumar Sah, Central Committee Member of the party.



Earlier, the shutdown was announced for four days in protest of irregularities in Dhanusha Disitrict Development Office and manhandle of its cadres in course of the 19th Dhanusha District Council meeting.
