Five-point deal welcoming: President

KATHMANDU, June 3: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has expressed hope that the five-point deal among the political parties will help bring the peace process to a logical conclusion and frame new constitution in line with people’s aspirations.



President Dr. Yadav said, ‘Lets hope and trust, five-point agreement will take the peace process to a logical end and frame a new constitution’.[break]



He said this while inaugurating Human Leukocycle Antigen (HLA) lab established by Arogya Foundation for the first time in Nepal, on Friday.



The HLA test is undertaken before kidney transplantation.



A five-point deal was reached among the top leaders of the UCPN (Maoist), the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML on May 28 in course of the extension of Constituent Assembly (CA) term by three months.



President Dr. Yadav called on all political parties, civil society including entire Nepali population to expedite development efforts by managing the political transition at the earliest.
