The winner will bag a cash prize of Rs 235,000 in the tournament to be participated by eight to 10 teams. There is also a provision of cash prize to top six teams -- second to sixth position holders will receive Rs 125,000, Rs 60,000, Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
Likewise, one scooter each will be awarded to the best player of the tournament, best player of the year and player of the series. The best player in different other categories will be awarded with Rs 5,000 each.
Meanwhile, the co-sponsor Kantipur Manpower has sponsored cash prize of Rs 310,000, including cash prize for the runner up team. Meanwhile, Dhanlal Jaishi of Kantipur and Dhorpatan President Chhantyal signed a deal in this regard at the same function. According to Chhantyal, 11 sub-committees have been formed to run the tournament smoothly.
The teams from outside the capital will be given Rs 50,000 for participation while team from the capital will be given Rs 15,000. Blue Sky International is the main sponsor while Kantipur and Coca Cola are co sponsors. The estimated cost of the event is Rs 3.25 million.
