CA polls in third week of November: Paudel

CHITWAN, April 28: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Paudel, has assured that the Constituent Assembly elections would be held within the third week of November.



Talking to journalists at Bharatpur Airport on Sunday on way to his trip to inaugurate a trainers´ training programme organized by the BP Chintan Pratisthan, Chitwan chapter, he said the date for the CA elections would be declared before 100 days of the government.[break]



Inquired by journalists whether the election was possible despite the CPN-Maoist protests, NC Vice President Paudel said Nepali people were for the election, as they want promulgating constitution through CA and that it could be the strong basis that election was possible.



Indicating the India visit of Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, NC leader Paudel said Dahal was not on any official visit and that it would have no meaning at all.
