CA polls in November: Leader Mahato

RAUTAHAT, April 27: Chairman of Sadbhawana Party (SP) Rajendra Mahato on Saturday said that new elections of the Constituent Assembly (CA) would be held in November this year.



Speaking at press conference organized here in Gaur, Mahato said that CA elections would be held in November as the incumbent government is formed with a mandate to hold the elections.[break]



He added that the Election Commission (EC) is also set to unveil the new date of the election within this month following the recommendations of the government.



On the occasion, leader Mahato also urged parties to be prepared for the upcoming polls.



Taking some parties threat to disrupt the upcoming elections lightly, Mahato underscored on the need of holding the election in time.



“Many forces had also vowed to disrupt the elections in the past, but it could not be succeeded,” he argued.



On the occasion, Mahato also accused Nepali Congress and CPN-UML of conspiring to delineate five provinces in Madhes. He said there will be maximum two states in Madhes if Tharu people objected to their proposal of one Madhes province.
