KATHMANDU, March 17: Nepal Boxing Association on Thursday honored 12th South Asian Games medalist boxers and coaches with cash prizes on Thursday.
Organizing a program in Kathmandu, the association honored bronze medalists Minu Gurung (51kg), Saraswati Rana (60 kg) and Deepak Shrestha (64 kg) with Rs 20,000 each, while chief coach Prachanda Sharma received Rs 7,500.

The association also honored coaches Prabin Tuladhar, Prakash Thapa Magar and Nima Tamang with Rs 7,000.
Similarly, other boxers who had participated in the 12th SAG and officials were honored with letter of appreciation.
National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista among others handed over the cash prizes to the players and coaches.
