A meeting organized by the Arghakhanchi chamber of commerce and industry on Monday decided to shut down Sandhikharka and Chutrabesi markets to mourn the death of victims of road accident.[break]
Similarly, Deurali Transport Entrepreneurs´ Committee also shut down transport services completely.
A total of 15 persons had died and five others were injured in the accident after the microbus (Ba 1 Kha 7948) heading towards Sandhikharka from Butwal met with the accident at Dahakhola of Narpani VDC, Ward No. 5 along Sandhikharka-Gorusinge road section on July 21.
Of the injured, condition of four is still serious and are undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, Chitwan. The accident had taken place after the micro-bus fell some 200 meters off the road.
