The evening also had the organizers unveil the posters and the official first look of the film.[break]
Richa Sharma, the protagonist of the film, looked beautiful in a sari. She seemed excited for her film which is also her co-production along with actor Vinay Shrestha.
She said, “Yes, I’m excited for my film. The premiere is also coming soon. Visa Girl will release around mid September. The film is yet to be completed and we aren’t rushing anything.”

Many well known personalities, like Astha B, Renasha Rai, Nima Rumba and Nirnaya Shrestha aka NSK were also present in the event to show support for the actors.
Santosh Lama and Shreya Sotang performed a song each from the film.
Launching the first screening of the film was Prabhat Rimal, station manager of Kantipur FM.
The website, www.filmvisagirl.com, was launched by Nakim Uddin, the owner of Quest Entertainment.
He talked about the evolution of Nepali films. He said, “I recall how some years ago filmmakers would come to me asking me to put up their films in our theatres. After I watched their works, I would feel quite sad to tell them that the audiences who come to our theatres don’t have a taste for those kinds of films. But a few years ago, we had Kagbeni, and now Loot has broken all box office records of Nepali films.”
